Nintendo 3DS - The First 3D Console

Nintendo 3DS was announced on 22 march at an annual fiscal meeting. The new Nintendo 3DSis the first ever 3D games console but unlike other 3D Products such as 3D TV’s the Nintendo 3ds will offer 3d visuals without the need for glasses imagine playing your favourite Mario games in 3D!

Already rumors are that the new Nintendo 3ds will have a 4 inch screen, two analogue sticks, rumble support, improved wifi connections and a even longer battery life. Nintendo has confirmed that the device will be shown and playable at E3 in June.

When will the Nintendo 3DS arrive?

According to Nintendo the Nintendo 3ds will become available to buy somewhere between April 2010 – march 2011 not exactly a specific time. The Nintendo 3DS will succeed the Nintendo DS series and will have backward compatibility for Nintendo DS and DSi games. It is important to stress that the Nintendo 3DS is a new hardware series. Like most products 2010 will see the launch of a whole range of 3D products such as 3D TV for your home. We personally think like the Nintendo pink dsi there will be 2 cameras and like the pink dsi the new Nintendo 3ds will probably sell like hot cakes in pre orders.
